We use traditional capsule assembly and tuning technology. This enables a smooth and natural translation of sound waves into electrical signal.
Our transformers are wound using a Soviet era machine that was built in 1978. The materials we use and the hand assembling of the transformers give our coils a special inductivity and impedance. It minimizes signal distortion and helps to create a very natural sound. That's why, in Russian, we called them (muzykalnye tranformatory" or "musical transformers" as the are specifically designed for use in audio applicatons. We surround our transformers with a speicial screening material that protects the audio signal from unwanted electrostatic and magnetic interference.
The Russian made torodial transformers we use in our power supplies provide the tube with very stable source of power and prevent any unwanted distortion.
We use vacuume tubes that have been manufactured, without interruption in the same factory since 1960. Originally, they were designed for horizontal scanning in the first soviet TV sets. But later they became recognized as arguabley the best sounding vacuum tubes in Russia. They provite the correct matching of high capsule output impedance withlow amplifier input impedance and provide the audio signal with its special warmth.
The shock mount ist handcrafted in our factory in Russia. Machined of high quality steel, brass and aluminium, this light, yet durable design offers a high leverl of isolation from unwanted vibrations that can travel through the microphone stand.
Our boxes are handmade in Tula using Russian hardwood from the vast forests of Siberia.
